Wedding Ceremony Photography in Brent Civic Centre, Wembley, London

I had the pleasure of capturing Sartaz and Thao's wedding at Brent Civic Centre in Wembley, which turned out to be a beautiful day despite the rainy weather (classic London autumn!). Their wedding ceremony was small and intimate, with just their closest family, giving the whole day a really personal, cosy vibe.

After the ceremony, we took some time in the garden at the Civic Centre for their portraits. The soft, diffused light from the overcast sky provided the perfect lighting conditions - I love shooting in the rain! Sartaz and Thao were completely relaxed in front of the camera, and I think that was partly because we’d had the chance to do their engagement shoot in Edinburgh just over a month earlier. By the time we got to the wedding day, they were so natural and at ease, and it really showed in the photos. (You can check out their Edinburgh engagement shoot here!)

Their wedding was also a beautiful blend of their cultures — Punjabi and Vietnamese — which added even more depth and uniqueness to the day. My focus is always to capture not just the key moments, but the smaller, more intimate ones that really highlight the couple's connection and personalities. I love noticing the details that others might not, and using those to tell the story of the day.

It was very special to capture these two in completely different settings (and different countries!), observe and capture their pure deep love to each other.
